This book focuses on public policies promoting CSR beyond the compulsory-voluntary dichotomy. With the participation of different actors in the policymaking process, the scope of these policies and the management of the implementation shifts. The conceptual model we have used for the research -a relational approach- takes into account in its construction the public sector, the private sector and society. We build up a relationship between our findings on policies promoting CSR and the development of the welfare state in the countries of EU-15.
