The legal market is going through a major transformation which has significantly increased the complexity of this sector, thus creating uncertainty about the future. Paraphrasing the American singer-songwriter Lenny Kravitz, this short paper argues that "this is the vibe" for a quality revolution in the legal services market. Preliminary findings are based on the analysis of 280 academic and professional papers and reports on the future of legal services, published between January 2010 and August 2017. In this complex and dynamic environment, quality, legal ethics, and innovation are addressed in the vast majority of academic and professional studies on the future of legal services. Nonetheless, there is significant ambiguity in the literature on quality in legal services and the impact of legal ethics and innovation in forming quality judgments.
